Precision Nylon Roller Lanes

High-precision nylon rollers with sealed ball bearings are set in aluminum lane channels at calculated pitch for your container length. Roller diameter — typically 1.25 or 1.75 inch — is selected for container bottom clearance and load rating. Rollers are replaceable individually without removing the lane assembly.

Steel Roller Option for Heavy Containers

For containers exceeding 40 lb or for high-cycle applications where nylon roller wear is a concern, steel rollers with sealed bearings are specified. Steel roller lanes carry higher loads at lower angles and have longer service life in abrasive or contaminated environments.

UHMW Smooth Channel Lanes

Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene channel liners replace rollers for lightweight containers, irregularly shaped totes, and applications where roller noise is unacceptable. UHMW lanes are quieter, simpler, and require no roller maintenance. They are inert to most industrial chemicals and cleaners.

Adjustable Lane Angle Setting

The minimum container weight depends on the lane surface and angle. On roller lanes at typical angles of 3 to 5 degrees, containers as light as 1 lb advance reliably with nylon rollers if the container bottom is flat and smooth. For very light containers or containers with non-flat bottoms, we use a steeper angle or smooth UHMW channel with a slightly higher angle to ensure reliable advance.
