Each process generates a distinct hazard profile — metal chips and sparks from grinding, fine combustible or respirable dust from sanding and polishing, abrasive media carryover from automated blasting, and swarf from machining operations. The enclosure construction and panel selection are matched to the specific hazard profile of your process.
The structural aluminum frame uses solid infill panels or heavy-gauge welded mesh at all enclosure faces. Panel selection is based on debris kinetic energy: heavier grinding swarf requires solid or heavy-mesh panels; fine sanding dust is contained by finer mesh or solid panels with filtered extraction provisions. Yes. All robotic material removal enclosures include one or more ducted extraction ports sized to the airflow requirements of the dust collection system. Port positioning is engineered to maximize capture efficiency at the generation zone — typically low on the enclosure face nearest the process, directing airflow through the cutting zone before exhausting.
